Abstract
The topic of "Discursive competence and its difficulties" explores individuals' ability to effectively engage in discourse, which involves the use of language to convey ideas, negotiate meaning, and participate in conversations. This annotation highlights the challenges learners face in developing discursive competence, such as navigating cultural norms, understanding conversational context, managing turn-taking, and adapting language register. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of addressing these difficulties in language education to foster effective communication skills.
