Abstract

The study of piano concertos by Russian composers plays a significant role in shaping musical expressiveness among students. These works are distinguished by their rich melodies, harmonic depth, and diverse performance techniques, which help develop students’ ability for emotional interpretation, nuance, and dynamic variety in their playing. In the pedagogical process, the study of piano concertos contributes to the formation of artistic thinking, analytical skills, and performance techniques. In Uzbekistan, the tradition of studying works by Russian composers such as P. I. Tchaikovsky, S. V. Rachmaninoff, and D. D. Shostakovich holds an important place in educational programs. This article explores pedagogical methods of working with piano concertos, their impact on the development of students’ musical expressiveness, and possible ways of integrating these works into the learning process.
