Abstract

The parameters of ultrasound elastography for various types of cystic formations of the pancreas have been determined. Sensitivity, specificity, prognosticality of a positive result, prognosticality of a negative result, and overall accuracy of the technique were 97, 75, 74, 97, and 84%, respectively. The superiority of the elastography technique over the standard transabdominal ultrasound examination in the differential diagnosis of cystic formations of the pancreas is shown. Conclusion. Ultrasound elastography is an effective, non-invasive method differential diagnosis of cystic formations of the pancreas and can be widely applied in clinical practice.
